Bio

Ajay Antony, MD is a double board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain physician with Spine Care Partners at TOI. He specializes in minimally invasive options to relieve pain and improve function. Dr. Antony received his undergraduate degree at the University of Florida and a doctor of medicine from St. George’s University. He went on the complete his anesthesiology residency and fellowship in pain medicine at the University of Florida. After becoming faculty at UF he joined TOI in 2020.

Dr. Antony’s practice as part of Spine Care Partners offers conservative options like physical therapy, injection, and ablation therapies, and specialized minimally invasive options. He works closely with our spine surgeons to customize the best treatment plan for each patient.  He teaches nationally and has published on neuromodulation as well as minimally invasive procedures for spinal stenosis and sacroiliac joint dysfunction. He is an active member of the American Society of Pain and Neuroscience (ASPN) and the North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS).
