We are thrilled to be among the first to join the newly initiated ECAP study evaluating the investigational Evoke® Closed-Loop System – the first and only closed-loop spinal cord stimulation (SCS) system – designed for our patients suffering with chronic trunk and/or limb pain. Learn More

Dr. Ajay Antony at Spine Care Partners is the first in the state of Florida to offer the investigational Evoke closed-loop spinal cord stimulation (SCS) system under a new clinical trial called the ECAP Study.

The Evoke Closed-Loop System is unique in that it is the first and only SCS system designed to measure the spinal cord’s response to stimulation and automatically adjust stimulation in real-time to optimize pain relief. The ECAP Study builds upon global studies, including the U.S. pivotal EVOKE study – the results of which were published in the top neurology journal, The Lancet Neurology.

The primary goal of the newly initiated ECAP Study is to further evaluate the relationship between neurophysiological measures and clinical outcomes of the Evoke Closed-Loop System.

To find out if you or a loved one are a candidate for this trial or to learn more, please contact our team today at (877) 259-2225  or visit www.ECAPStudy.com.

About our Clinical Trials & Research

Evidence-based medicine through clinical research has long been the foundation of expanding our understanding of medicine and guiding decision-making for patient care. We are proud to review here a new clinical research program at Spine Care Partners in interventional pain medicine.

The field of interventional pain is expanding at a very rapid pace and at SCP we are on the cutting edge of newer, more effective, and less invasive options for our patients. As alternatives to less effective and sometimes dangerous medications, our minimally invasive procedures can serve as alternatives or as a complement to other surgical procedures such as spine surgery and joint replacement surgery. While all of our studies are funded, some offer patients access to therapies otherwise yet to be approved by regular insurance.

The goal of our clinical research program at SCP is to help understand new treatments and gain a better understanding of already established therapies. Currently, we are participating in 8 funded studies, making us one of the largest interventional pain clinical research programs in the Southeast. We are currently investigating new options in spinal cord stimulation, lumbar spinal stenosis, post-operative knee pain, peripheral nerve stimulation, and sacroiliac joint dysfunction.

We expect to continue our growth as a national leader in clinical research for advanced interventional pain therapies in the years to come. For more information about specific research studies or if you have an interest in participating please contact us at (877) 259-2225.
